  • You must be located in the Northern California area (Bay area preferred) and have a proven, documented, successful sales track record selling large Enterprise Software Solutions for at least 5 years to qualify.

    Regional Sales Manager – “Individual Contributor” with no direct management responsibility.

    Position overview and responsibilities:

    Reporting directly to the National Vice President of Sales, you will have full responsibility for successfully growing and managing your sales territory.

    Develops and manages mutually profitable customer relationships with major identified accounts which require exceptional sales consulting and communication skills. Achieves or exceeds assigned sales quotas.

    Responsible for all account management activity for designated multiple accounts. Typically directs or participates with a sales team in the achievement of sales targets. Collaborates with various department managers to ensure sales objectives are met. Is responsible for the strategic implementation of the Company’s sales plan is his/her region.

    Ensures the overall regional account plans and strategy align with corporate objectives and is responsible for the revenue plan for major accounts and partner relationships on a regional basis.

    The RSM is responsible for the identification of new accounts and for increased penetration of existing accounts at new locations.

    Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the account's strategic business issues. Develops relationships at the Director, VP and Sr. VP level and ensures the establishment of a long-term and strategic relationship. Ensures the proper company senior management account relationships are developed and nurtured.

    Communicates corporate objectives and ensures coordination by reps assigned to accounts.

    Develops and implements action plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets and product mix goals through systematic sales calls on current and potential customers. Frequently creates innovative and effective ways to deal with primary and secondary business problems, and promotes and sells the complete product solution.

    Qualifications: You must meet all the following requirements to qualify.

  • You must be a highly energetic, fire in the belly, money motivated, aggressive yet diplomatic, polished sales professional.

  • The Ideal Candidate will have worked for companies like but not limited to, Amdocs, Pega Systems, Seibel Systems, etc.

  • You must have developed and closed multi million dollar deals involving the classic enterprise complex, long, sales cycles with average sales transactions in excess of $1M.

  • Customers must have been large complex organizations.

  • Demonstrated track record of being the lead in identifying and closing large deals.

  • Experience in selling into and closing deals in the Financial services, High Tech or large enterprise tools marketplace.

  • Tenure in previous sales positions for a term greater than at least 3 years is an absolute requirement.

  • BS/BA + 10 years related experience.

  • You must have a proven track record of successfully selling large Enterprise Software applications and services to major clients.

  • You must demonstrate a high energy level, be driven to get the job done, and exude a high degree of self-confidence to fellow executives.

  • Able to promulgate process-driven sales methodologies across the sales organization. Experienced at identifying ‘big picture’ opportunities and defining them to action plans/initiatives with the ability to work with the corporate Managers & Executives to develop a strategic sales approach.

  • You must possess a “Get Things Done Attitude” with excellent Business Acumen skills including the ability to make sound business decisions.

  • Able to solicit and win buy-ins. You must be a very action and results-oriented sales professional. Pro-active and able to engender high levels of confidence throughout the entire organization.

  • You must have and be able to provide impeccable Management references from your past employers.

  • You will be required to successfully pass a detailed Background Check and Drug Screening to be considered for the position.
